DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Installing the connection of the electrical service equipment to the new underground service and removal of abandoned equipment at eight (8) residential properties. Connection includes, but is not limited to, the conversion of the service entrance and meter base. Connection will be coordinated with MidAmerican Energy and the City of Iowa City.
PRE-BID:
November 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Meeting will be on-site. Please email the Engineer for meeting location.
ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE:
$36,000
COMPLETION DATE:
Specified Start Date: November 14, 2024
Substantial Completion Date: December 13, 2024
Liquidated damages: $250 per day
PERFORMANCE BOND:
One hundred percent (100%) of the bid.
PAYMENTS:
Monthly estimates equivalent to 95% of the contract value of work completed during the preceding calendar month.
