VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90073-1003 is seeking a contractor to provide Gigabyte Ethernet Services. This service will be provided to the Greater Los Angeles Medical Center, the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, and the Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center.
The contractor must provide the following tasks:
This contract will cover the equipment, installation, and additional services for connecting internet service to each facility for mission critical systems.
VENDOR TASKINGS/PERFORMANCE
Equipment
Vendor must coordinate project planning and engineering for the system with COR and or designee and the O&IT service at each site location
Vendor must do device initialization, test verification, wireless connectivity/validation
Provide 2 1-gigabyte switches to the Greater Los Angeles Medical Center (Wilshire) and the following: 2- 1 gigabyte Ethernet, internet access, static IP and 28 block.
Vendor will provide equipment and service for a 500meg Ethernet internet connection at the Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center and Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center.
Vendor shall work with system administrators, superusers, safety to develop a training schedule that will allow all needed individuals to receive necessary training.
Vendor will provide 1 gigabyte PAC50 network connection from 11301 Wilshire blvd to Los Angeles County Justice Data Interface Controller
VA will provide router/switch from modem to government equipment
Installation
Vendor must provide full installation services in accordance with VA, VHA, and VAGLA policies and procedures.
Vendor must repair any damages caused during installation, repairs will be required to match existing color schemes, ceiling tiles and grid, lead patching, floor damage, and any additional damage to facility.
During the installation, vendor must notify the VA COR of any changes to existing light, HVAC, sprinkler, Fire and Safety systems prior to changes/movement.
Vendor must provide removal and disposal of materials used for construction this includes cleaning of all debris and waste resulting from this project.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Vendor must provide via email the Quarterly performance review and follow up of the review to VA COR.
Vendor must provide regular software updates.
Vendor must provide Operational Support- Contractor shall provide 24hr support and response for service within 24hrs to any of the mentioned locations upon notification of service disruption or equipment malfunctioning.
Vendor will invoice monthly to Tungsten per the contract

(6) Please provide general pricing for your products/solutions for market research purposes.
(7) Please submit a capability statement that addresses qualifications and verifies ability to perform work described above.
The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought announcement. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. However, if there are insufficient Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business responses, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. No sub-contracting opportunity is anticipated. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 517111 (1,500 Employees).
Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to katharine.robert@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10/30/2024 09:00 AM MST.
After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, a solicitation may be published on the FedBizOpps or GSA eBuy websites. Responses to this sources sought announcement will not be considered adequate responses to the solicitation. All interested offerors must respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Prospective bidders must be authorized re-sellers in order to participate in the solicitation process.
Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Additionally, all Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at www.vip.vetbiz.gov
