REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Myrtle Court Pipe Repair Project

The City of Holland (“City”) is soliciting proposals for the construction project referenced above. Please

use the attached Proposal Summary Form and submit your quote to the City of Holland, Transportation

Services, 333 Wyngarden Way, Holland, Michigan, 49423, by 10:00 a.m. local time on Thursday,

August 28, 2025, at which time the proposals will be opened and read publicly. Proposals may be

mailed or hand delivered in a sealed envelope directed to the Transportation Services Department, and

endorsed on the outside of the envelope, “Myrtle Court Pipe Repair Project.” The Contractor will be

responsible for verifying that their proposal has been received by the City.

The project generally consists of the following work:

1. Pipe patching

2. Removal and Replacement of 42” Storm Sewer

3. Restoration

The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services

necessary to complete all the work related to the project. All materials and workmanship shall be

provided in accordance with the 2020 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications

for Construction unless otherwise specified. Proposal documents consist of the attached map, plans,

general conditions, special provisions, request for proposal, proposal form and referenced material.

Contractors and subcontractors shall be prequalified with MDOT for the type of work being performed

under this contract or provide the City with at least 3 references from past projects with a similar scope

of work. Utility work, if applicable, shall be in accordance with Holland Board of Public Works

specifications or the specifications adopted by the appropriate utility owner.
