Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM #1
CORRECTION: The Notice of Availability of Bid Specifications states ‘Local licenses required:
Certified/Registered General or Certified Specialty Structure’ to perform the services for this project. The correct
license requirements should be ‘Certified/Registered General, Certified/Registered Building Contractor,
or Certified Specialty Structure’.

CORRECTION: The page 41 of the Bid Form, the checklist states the ‘License Requirement:
Certified/Registered General or Certified Specialty Structure’. Please correct License Requirement:
Certified/Registered General, Certified/Registered Building Contractor, or Certified Specialty Structure.

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Will the county accept Certified Building Contractor license holders to bid this project?
A1: Yes, a Certified/Registered Building Contractor would be permitted to do this work.
Q2: Is a State Certified Specialty Contractor allowed to bid this project?
A2: The Contractor should be familiar with the State of Florida statutes regarding their specialty license.
This project does have “Structural” components to the scope of work. Contractors must register their
license with Charlotte County at https://www.charlottecountyfl.gov/departments/community-
development/licensing/.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260117. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
