The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (Commonwealth), Department of General Services (DGS) on behalf of the Bureau of Supplies and Surplus (BSSO) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to solicit details that could be used to assist with the development and creation of documentation for Municipal Waste - Separate Stream Recycling Services.
The Department of General Services (DGS), Bureau of Supplies and Surplus (BSSO) is responsible for the collection of recycling at approximately 30 locations throughout and surrounding the Capitol Complex located in Harrisburg, PA. The goal is to establish a single hauler for Municipal Waste – Separate Stream Recycling. The Commonwealth is requesting feedback from firms with expertise in Municipal Waste – Separate Stream Recycling as set forth below: 1) Include a cover letter, with the RFI response, on Company Letterhead, which includes a point of contact name, phone number and email address. 2) Complete Attachment A (within attachment 01). Please respond to the questions in the questionnaire and limit the responses to these questions only. 3) Reference Attachment B, Commonwealth Recycling Location List. 4) Complete Attachment C, Trade Secret/Confidential Proprietary Notice. The sole point of contact for this RFI shall be Nicole Moyer, nicomoyer@pa.gov or (717) 783-3056. The Commonwealth is requesting that all responses to this RFI be submitted via email to Nicole Moyer, nicomoyer@pa.gov by COB on Tuesday, 07/15/25 with the subject line of Municipal Waste – Separate Stream Recycling – RFI 6100063925 - A. |
