MUNICIPAL SERVICES GENERATOR PROJECT INVITATION TO BID


The City of West Richland will receive sealed bids for the MUNICIPAL SERVICES GENERATOR PROJECT at the Municipal Services Facility, 3100 Belmont Blvd, West Richland, Washington, 99353 until Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

This Contract provides for the furnishing, installation, and commissioning of a complete emergency power system for the City of West Richland Municipal Services Facility. The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a 480/277V, 3-phase generator and bypass isolation automatic transfer switch (ATS), concrete support pads, associated piping and fittings, electrical wiring and components, and integration with existing building electrical and information technology rooms. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, testing, commissioning, and incidentals necessary to deliver a complete and operational system in accordance with the Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, the Standard Specifications, and all applicable codes and regulations.

Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site, Municipal Services Facility, 3100 Belmont Blvd., West Richland, Washington 99353 Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.  Bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in surety bond, cash, certified check, or cashier’s check, surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of West Richland.

The City of West Richland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, to accept any bid deemed to be responsive in the best interest of the City of West Richland and reserves the right to readvertise for new proposals.
