Municipal legal services

The Jacksonville Wastewater Utility (JWU) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified law firms or individual attorneys to provide municipal legal services on an as-needed basis, only for supplemental, project-specific, or subject-matter-specific legal support. Legal support may include, but not limited to: municipal law, sewer improvement districts, labor & employment, environmental law, litigation support, real estate & property, public finance, contract review, and other specialized legal services as may be required by JWU. Firms or individuals must be licensed to practice law in the State of Arkansas, demonstrate experience in municipal or public-sector law, and meet the qualification requirements outlined in the request for qualifications (RFQ) packet. The full RFQ may be obtained at 248 Cloverdale Road, Jacksonville or by calling 501/982-0581. SOQs must be received no later than June 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the above address. JWU reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, to waive informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the Utility.
