REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
MUNICIPAL BUILDING CLEANING SERVICES
The Township of Mahwah is soliciting proposals through the competitive contracting process in
accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 et seq.
Sealed RFP responses will be received by the Purchasing Agent on Wednesday, September 9,
2026 at 11:30 a.m. in the Office of Administration, Township of Mahwah Richard J. Martel
Municipal Complex, 475 Corporate Drive, Mahwah, New Jersey 07430 at which time and place
responses will be opened and read for:
RFP #26-01
"MUNICIPAL BUILDING CLEANING SERVICES"
Specifications and instructions may be obtained at the office of the Business Administrator, at
the above address, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday,
commencing Tuesday, August 18, 2026, or electronic requests may be emailed to
jmagnus@mahwahtwp.org. Electronic requests must include company name, address, phone
number and contact person.
Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Township of Mahwah and placed in a
sealed envelope bearing the name of the bidder, and clearly marked, "RFP #26-01"
ENCLOSED-DO NOT OPEN" in the lower-left corner, or they will not be considered.

The Township of Mahwah assumes no responsibility for RFP's returned by mail.
Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of "N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and
