This is a SOURCES SOUGHT for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center located at 5500 Armstrong Road Battle Creek, MI 49037. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 339113. The NAICS size is 800 employees.

Requirements: 2 each Multipurpose Wheelchair Washers, installation and Related Cleaning Solutions
- Needs to be extra tall at least 60 inches for cleaning high-back and geriatric chairs.
- Must be capable of washing 2 chairs at a time and be capable of cleaning commode chairs, shower chairs, and other durable medical equipment.
- Unit construction needs to be made of stainless steel for the cabinet and utilize rust-free nongalvanized plumbing while using solid-state electronic controls. and include four 360-degree swiveling heavy duty castors with brakes.
- Safety features should include a locking door and emergency stop and door switches.
- Must use a freshwater system for wash & rinse cycle without re-using water to maintain a high degree of cleanliness/sterility for equipment.
- Must use two thermally protected rust-free pumps, preferably rated at ¾ hp for the wash pump, and a ¼ hp for a drain pump.
- Performances should be at least 45 second maximum water fill time using a non-mechanical fail-proof fill capability with no overflow possibilities, and no more than 5-minute cleaning cycle.
- Water Supply In: Standard Washer Hose connection – cold only.
- 110 Volt Outlet – Standard 3 prong plug.
- Placement: 3 food wide x 5-foot-deep x 58 inches tall OR SMALLER.
- Drain: must be 6 inches or less than in diameter.
- Stand: 4 Heavy Duty Casters to ensure movement if needed for access.
- Door Open: Left hand swing is preferred but right had swing will work.
- Safety Stop button on front of machine for safety.
