Project Description: The City of Fargo is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the procurement of a 3D LiDAR based multimodal detection and analytics system to be deployed at seven (7) intersections on 52nd Avenue S in the City of Fargo that include:
- 45th Street S
- 42nd Street S
- 38th Street S
- 31st Street S/Timber Parkway S
- 25th Street S
- Bishops Blvd S
- University Drive S
The system must provide vehicle, pedestrian, and bicyclist detection, traffic actuation, safety analytics, and real-time monitoring, supporting our goals for multimodal safety, operational efficiency, and data driven decision-making.
The desired system shall incorporate 3D digital LiDAR sensors, edge-based AI perception, and a cloud-enabled analytics platform, delivering a unified solution for both real-time actuations and historical analytics.
