Description:

The City of San Leandro is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the "Mulford-Marina Branch Library, Project 2018.2400." The work to be done consists of construction of a new library facility and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Attendance at a pre-bid meeting is mandatory. All bidders must attend at least one pre-bid conference and be confirmed on its attendance roster. A firm that didn’t attend the pre-bid conference isn’t qualified to bid on the project. Three online virtual pre-bid conferences will be held for this project as follows:

Bidders who download the plans are encouraged to contact the City of San Leandro's Engineering and Transporttion Department at (510) 577-3428 to be placed on the project planholder's list to receive courtesty notifications of addenda and other project information. Project addenda, if any, will be posted on the website. A bidder who fails to address all project addenda in its proposal may be deemed non-responsive.

Qualifications:

A Class “B” General Building Contractor’s License is required for this work. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the California Business and Professions Code.
