The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District is seeking manufacturers pertaining to Mueller cast iron flanged end wye strainers for a firm-fixed price (FFP) construction contract titled Agricultural Research Services (ARS) Washington State University (WSU) Plant Biosciences Research Building (PBRB), located in Pullman, Washington.

Products/systems must comply with FAR clause 52.225-11 as referenced below.

GENERAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The identified brand/manufacturer named items are intended to indicate basis of design for the Mueller Cast Iron Flanged End Wye Strainers. The attached specifications identify the salient characteristics of the items required, identify each manufacturer/brand name items, or approved equal.

BUY AMERICAN STATUTE REQUIREMENTS:

The Mueller cast iron flanged end wye strainers must comply with FAR Clause 52.225-11, Buy American Construction Materials under Trade Agreements.

Manufacturers and/or suppliers responding to this announcement shall verify that the products/systems satisfy the general requirements indicated in the attach specifications.
