Project Description: The City of Waco, Texas, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to engage qualified vendors for the design and replacement of a chlorine scrubber system at the Mount Carmel Water Treatment Plant (WTP). This project is a critical upgrade to existing safety systems and is intended to ensure continued compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements for handling hazardous substances, including chlorine gas.
