MS6-M26006 2026 Downtown Pavement Marking Rehab

The City of Lawrence is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform pavement striping on downtown streets between 6th Street and 11th Street, and from Vermont Street to New Hampshire Street. All striping will be completed using traffic paint. This project is intended to refresh downtown striping in advance of the World Cup events and is subject to a completion deadline of May 29, 2026.

Project Timeline: Work is anticipated to begin on May 11, 2026, with all work to be completed by May 29, 2026.

The work to be done under this contract includes:

Removal and replacement of existing pavement markings at various locations in the City including approximately 4345 LF white 6” paint, 20,800 LF yellow 4” paint, 1490 LF of Solid White Stop Bar 24” paint, 365 EA Crosswalk Blocks 24” paint, 96 EA L/R/T arrows paint, 20 EA bike symbol with arrows paint bike symbols with arrows, 1980 LF of 4” Solid White paint, 662 LF 4” Solid White parking T (12x18) paint, 162 LF 4” Solid White parking T (18x18) paint.
