MQ-4C & MQ-25A Rolls Royce Peculiar Support Equipment

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Lakehurst New Jersey, intends to solicit on a sole source basis to CUDA II, Inc. (CAGE: 1SWT0) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The anticipated Firm Fixed-Price contract is for the acquisition of the following Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) in support of the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) and MQ-25A Reaper UAS Programs for the United States Navy and Royal Australian Air Force:

• Exhaust Engine Removal Cover; P/N: 23055384-2; NSN: 2995-01-589-4152


• Inlet Engine Removal Cover; P/N: 23055383; NSN: 1730-LL-ERG-5391

The Government intend to solicit and negotiate this procurement under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)91), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as CUDA II, Inc. is the only authorized distributor for the above P/Ns. Rolls Royce Corporation is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the required P/Ns but is unable to support the Government's requirement. A solicitation will NOT be posted following the close of this synopsis, unless alternate offerors are identified.

The Government does own the rights to the data and is unable to open the requirement to competition.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within five (5) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration for award of any Department of Defense contract. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for, or award, a contract.
