Project Description	Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract from prequalified bidders are invited for the following work: The project involves the renovation of Room B114-29 and the adjacent control and equipment rooms and installation of a new University-Furnished, Contractor Installed Siemens Biograph Positron Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (PET/CT) scan system on the B-1 Level of 200 Medical Plaza (MP200), including the associated University-Furnished, Contractor Installed chiller unit serving the PET/CT equipment. The scope of work includes demolition of improvements in the way of the proposed work; installation of equipment, anchoring and framing; modifications to the building’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to support the program; modifications to associated nurse call, fire alarm, fire sprinkler and security systems; lead shielding upgrades; testing and balancing; and repairs to any building finishes impacted by the work.
