Project Description	Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract are invited for the following work: The project consists of the replacement of the air handling unit (AHU) and installation of a temporary air handling unit on the B1 Level of 200 Medical Plaza. The scope of work shall include demolition of improvements including installation of equipment, anchoring and framing, installation of HVAC controls, variable frequency drives, and hoisting equipment; modifications to building mechanical and electrical to support the program; ductwork; piping; testing and balancing; and repairs to building finishes impacted by the work. Both Temporary AHU and new AHU shall be furnished by the Contractor and cut over to be done during non-patients’ hours. AHU shall be in fully working order during patients’ hours and shall not impact patients care.
