Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Arbitration Services

The CID is seeking bids for Arbitration Services required by Connecticut state law as further described below. The Department’s Arbitration Program is designed to assist claimants and insurers in settling automobile physical damage and automobile property damage liability insurance claims in situations where liability and coverage are not in dispute. This arbitration procedure applies only to insurance claims involving private passenger motor vehicles as defined in Conn. Gen. Stat. §38a-363(e). The specifications for the engagement and the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP will be incorporated into any resulting contract entered into between the CID and the successful proposer.
