Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for Motor Lubricants and Oil will be received by Chippewa Valley
Schools, located at 19120 Cass Avenue, Clinton Twp, MI 48038, Attention: Purchasing Department
Lillian Grayson.
All sealed bids must be delivered on or before November 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., local time. Oral,
telephonic, telegraphic, email, facsimile, or late proposals will NOT be accepted or considered under any
circumstances.
Bids shall be on forms furnished by Chippewa Valley Schools. Bid documents may be obtained on or
after November 7, 2025, at Chippewa Valley Schools Bids. Questions may be directed to Lillian Grayson,
Purchasing Coordinator, at purchasing@cvs.k12.mi.us no later than 4:00 p.m. on November 14, 2025.
Bids will be publicly opened on November 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EST at the address listed above. All
bids will be evaluated, and awards will be made subsequently by Chippewa Valley Schools. All bids must
be submitted using the attached pricing form and signed by Bidder in a sealed envelope, including all
affidavits. Bidders must submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the bid proposal form, bid pricing
sheet, affidavits, and all required documentation.
A bidder may withdraw their bid, unopened, if a written request is received prior to the bid opening
time. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with Chippewa Valley Schools.
Chippewa Valley Schools is exempt from all taxes. A tax exemption certificate will be provided upon
request. All proposals must remain firm for ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening. All
proposals must meet or exceed the specifications outlined in the bid documents.
All bidders must provide a sworn and notarized Iran Linked Business disclosure in compliance with Public
Act 517 of 2012, as well as a Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement. These documents must confirm
that the bidder is not an Iran Linked Business and that no familial relationship exists between the bidder
(or any owner, employee, or board member) and any member of the Chippewa Valley Schools Board of
Education or administration. Bids submitted without these disclosures will not be considered.
The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items in the bid; to accept or
reject any or all bids; to split the award to more among multiple bidders; to waive informalities therein;
or, to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder. By submitting a bid, the Bidder agrees to
accept the decision of the District as final.
