The City of Cambridge Moses Youth Center, located at 243 Harvard Street, is undergoing HVAC upgrades along with limited systems and interior improvements. The project includes, but is not limited to, full electrification of the HVAC system with an all-electric Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system and Building Management System (BMS); targeted building envelope improvements; plumbing and electrical upgrades; minor structural repairs and modifications; complete lighting replacement; and a fire alarm system upgrade. Architectural work will include refinishing existing woodwork, upgrading door hardware, installing new lockers, improving accessibility and handrails, and making interior upgrades such as new flooring and painting. The building will be unoccupied during construction.
