The Contractor will provide mortuary and cremation services to UTHealth Houston, adhering to state and federal laws. Pre-willed bodies approved by UTHealth will be accepted, and removals involving family contact must be supervised by a licensed funeral director or embalmer. The Contractor assumes responsibility for bodies in their care and will be reimbursed for services. Monthly invoicing and documentation for death certificates and donor forms are required. Cremation services, including permits and handling of cremains, will follow UTHealth’s direction.
