Moosomin Dam and Maple Creek Area Dams Tabletop Exercise

The Purpose of this RFQ is to engage a qualified supplier to design, organize, facilitate and evaluate two table top exercises. One exercise for WSA’s Moosomin Dam. The second exercise will include Harris Dam, Harris Dyke, and Junction Dam, collectively referred to as the Maple Creek Area Dams. The goal of the tabletop exercises is to test and enhance the effectiveness of the current WSA Emergency Response Plans. The exercise will provide an opportunity for WSA, to evaluate: roles, responsibilities, coordination mechanisms, and communication protocol in a controlled discussion-based environment.

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
