Montgomery ES-MS-HS Boiler Replacement

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that the Montgomery Area School District will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 12:00 PM prevailing time on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 for the Montgomery ES-MS-HS Boiler Replacement. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to remove and replace four boilers and all associated components located at Montgomery Elementary/Middle/High School.
All bidding documents will be available online at no cost via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) beginning at 12:00 PM on Monday, September 29, 2025.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply.
Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer’s Office and referred to the Montgomery Area School District for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at the project site: 120 Penn St. Montgomery, PA 17752. All bidders are required to attend. Questions may be submitted through PennBid’s “Messages/Public Q&A” tab on or before 3:00 PM on Monday, October 6, 2025. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties.
The Montgomery Area School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
