Montgomery County Planning Commission for Hydroelectric Generation Project Preferred

Project Description: This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that Montgomery County (the County) will take procurement action in this matter. Montgomery County seeks information from private hydroelectric generation developers and consultants to assist the County in making informed decisions regarding the development of a hydroelectric generation facility on the County-owned Norristown Dam in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The County is currently in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) exemption process and this RFI is based on the assumption that the County will receive the exemption from FERC.
