Scope of Services
This Invitation to Bid (ITB) includes a requirement for blanket discount pricing covering items and/or materials listed in current pricing documents, which may include but are not limited to price lists, schedules, and catalogs (including web-based catalogs) regularly maintained by a manufacturer, distributor, or the Contractor and available for inspection by customers unless otherwise disclosed to HCPS. Bidders shall offer prices for items based on a discount percentage off of their most current pricing documents for product category(ies) bid, where applicable. A zero percent discount is acceptable. All prices in said catalog shall be calculated using the single discount amount offered in each category. The discount percentage shall be uniform across all catalog items within the defined category grouping. All pricing contained therein shall be of fair market value, competitive with other sellers in the industry. Price schedules/catalogs custom-tailored for HCPS shall not be considered. HCPS recognizes that catalog prices may change during the contract term; however, discounts awarded under this ITB shall remain firm throughout the life of the Agreement.
By submitting Blanket/Discount pricing as part of their Bid, the vendor agrees to provide pricing documents as required above and accepts responsibility for keeping these documents current. Failure to include this information may result in the offer being rejected. The Bidder is not required to respond to all categories to be considered for an award. HCPS reserves the right to request additional discounts for large individual purchases.
