Description:

The work comprises, but is not limited to: mobilization, traffic control, the removal and reconstruction of deteriorated pavement up to 7”; grind and overlay asphalt pavement up to 2”; striping; adjustment of utility manholes and covers; adjustment of utility valve cans, covers, and hydrant blowoffs; construction of PCC access ramps; storm drain improvements; future street lights; conduits; driveway approaches; sidewalks; fence removal and replacement; retaining curbs and slough walls along Montecito Drive between Los Serranos Boulevard and Lugo Avenue.

Work shall be completed in compliance with approved Project Design Plans, on file with the City Clerk.

Qualifications:
The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. The minimum acceptable experience shall include direct responsibility for performing the necessary work. Failure to meet the minimum qualification will render a bidder non-responsive.
Special Requirements:
10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. It shall be mandatory, upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established by the City Council as they apply to the work being performed. Said prevailing rates are available from the State of California Department of Industrial Relations website (**See link under Description).
