Modification and Repairs - (8) Mobile Camera Tower Trailers - for Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC)

The purpose of this specification is to outline the required performance outcomes for modifying and upgrading eight (8) camera tower trailers to ensure safe, reliable road transport at speeds up to 70 MPH, including the replacement of missing ancillary hardware and the stabilization of mast and solar panel structures.

CONTRACT AWARD :
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

EVALUATION :
Bids will be evaluated in accordance with ORC 125.07. In addition, the state will multiply the bid prices by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
A Mandatory Site Visit will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM (ET)
at the Shipley Building:
1970 West Broad Street
Columbus, Ohio 43223
(Check-in at security desk at front visitor entrance).

Mandatory Site Visit is required to survey the units and discuss the requirements of the solicitation. The site visit will commence promptly at the specified time, barring any unforeseen circumstance that results in a delay of the site visit. Attendance will be taken. The state will not be responsible to a supplier for their failure to obtain information discussed during the site visit due to their arriving after the site visit has convened. Bidders who fail to attend the Mandatory Site Visit and print their name on the sign-in sheets will be deemed not responsive.

The State cannot ensure attendance at the site visit for Suppliers that fail to Pre-Register by the deadline.
