Modesto 2026 Restroom Replacement

The City of Modesto (City) is soliciting RFP/ RFQ for the Modesto 2026 Restroom Replacement for the City of Modesto. Submittals are due before 11am on January 20, 2026.

WHITMORE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK (1013 Bowen Ave, Modesto, CA 95350) – The current restroom building at this park is over 50 years old, is in poor condition, and in need of replacing. The restroom building shall be removed in its entirety and will be replaced with an all-new pre-manufactured building, including making any new water, electrical, and sewer utility connections required. Existing concrete to be either removed in favor or landscape area or repaired where applicable. There is an irrigation controller and minimal electrical in the existing building that will need to be accommodated for in the design. This project will likely require a civil engineer, electrical engineer, geotechnical engineer, landscape architect, and surveyor to complete a comprehensive construction bid package.

Emphasis on value engineering, simplicity, and quality design is critical to the success of this project. The project will require an experienced full service consultant (team) with the ability to evaluate the existing conditions and make recommendations in a wide range of design services including but not limited to: civil engineering, electrical engineering, landscape architectural, surveying and geotechnical specialists. The consultant selected will need to be familiar with all applicable adopted local building codes (City of Modesto), City of Modesto Park Design Standards, the existing project concept layouts attached.
