Project Description: The County of Lebanon, PA, is requesting proposals to modernize a 5-stop overhead traction passenger elevator, and their associated operating equipment in the Lebanon County Municipal Building. This project includes upgrading components such as controller, cop, lop, traveling cable, door, motor, cabin, rope, building work, machine room, ventilation, electrical work. This is to meet current fire and safety standards and to ensure compliance with code and ADA requirements and provide safe, smooth, and reliable operating performance. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting to go over expectations of work will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday December 4, 2024, in the Municipal Building: 400 S 8th Street, Commissioners Room 207, Lebanon, PA 17042. Contact: Steve Klein 717-228-4445 Must be present for bid to be considered. Final question cut off should be submitted no later than end of day Thursday December 5th.
Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the Base Bid Price. Bidders shall provide evidence of having adequate recent experience on similar projects.
