The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the Modern Woodmen Ballpark Levee Repair Project. This project is located at the Modern Woodmen Ballpark along the levee on the Mississippi River. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for railing removal and reinstallation, retaining wall removal and construction, slope protection, erosion control, temporary fencing, chain link fencing, structural concrete, PCC Pavement, drain tiling and other appurtenant items needed to repair and maintain existing facilities in these designated areas.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 6, 2026, at 11am at Modern Woodmen Park, located at 209 South Gaines St. Davenport, IA 52802. This will be a time to visit the location, review the plans and specifications, address any questions or concerns, and discuss the City’s expectations. All contractors intending to bid on this project must have a representative in attendance.

Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport e-bidding system (https://davenport.ionwave.net); no emails, faxes, paper copies or any other submission method will be accepted.  Within the system, each tab of the Invitation to Bid must be reviewed and responded to accordingly.
