Summary

The purpose of this RFP is to obtain a customized Mobile Workforce Center (“MWC”) vehicle.

Background

The City of Norfolk (“City”) Human Services Department is seeking a customized vehicle to be used to engage the community. This vehicle will be used to support the Virginia Initiative for Education and Work (“VIEW”). The VIEW program is designed to aid families receiving assistance in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It aims to empower individuals to overcome poverty by eliminating barriers, gaining essential employment and academic skills and trades, and ultimately, by achieving self-sufficiency through sustainable employment.
