This is a Request for Information - Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is seeking vendor upgrade and rehabilitate self-contained mobile command post (MCP) trailer. This unit will ensure continued and enhanced preparedness and responses to hazardous materials incidents and disasters, enable the TCEQ to meet Texas Homeland Security Goals and Objectives, as well as obligations in the Texas State Emergency Management Plan as the lead state agency for hazardous materials operations. The MCP is vital to our responses during hurricane season June 1 – November 31 each year. TCEQ purchased the MCP in 2007. It needs equipment upgrades as well as the repair or replacement of furniture, fixtures and systems due to age and wear.
