NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE – 30mm Stryker Reconfigurable Desktop Trainer (SRDT) Delta Kits

Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source, commercial Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) to InVeris Training Solutions Inc. (CAGE 087W6). The RFP is to acquire 3 kits that make up the 30mm SRDT Delta Kit; (30 EA) Commander Extension Kits (NSN: N/A) (P/N 8000-1983-01-R(A)), (30 EA) Gunner Monitor Extension Kits (NSN: N/A) (P/N 8000-2014-01), and (30 EA) Medium Caliber Weapon System (MCWS) Control Grips Kits (NSN: N/A0 (P/N: 8000-2030-01). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed action will result in a 12-month, firm fixed price contract.

Per 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), When the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or, for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. As such, the USG proposes to release a Sole Source solicitation to InVeris Training Solutions.
