Solicitation of bids for Aircraft Washing Contract – Cessna C208 Caravan ONLY

Purpose

The purpose of this Scope of Work (SOW) is to define the requirements and expectations for the provision of exterior aircraft washing services for the Ohio State Highway Patrol Aviation Section’s Cessna C208 Caravan. The intent is to ensure the aircraft is maintained in optimal condition, in compliance with manufacturer guidelines, and to support the longevity of critical systems.

Scope of Services

The contractor shall provide the following services:

• Exterior Wash Only: Perform cleaning of the aircraft’s exterior surfaces. No interior cleaning is required under this contract.

• Washing as needed, up to twice a month and the washes will be scheduled by the Aviation Section within normal operating hours at the ODOT Hangar in Columbus, Ohio.

• Compliance with Manufacturer Recommendations: All cleaning procedures and cleaning compounds must strictly adhere to Cessna Manufacturer Recommendations for aircraft washing and maintenance.

• System Longevity: Cleaning practices must be conducted in a manner that supports and maintains the longevity of the TKS system.

Performance Standards

• Cleaning must result in a visibly clean exterior free of dirt, debris, and contaminants.

• Clean exterior TKS system components, allowing the system to work properly for its intended purpose
