MK 25 MOD 1 FCT Gauging Components

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Division (Corona Division) is issuing this pre-solicitation to satisfy the requirements in accordance with (IAW) FAR 5.204 and FAR 5.207.

Corona Division is seeking information from potential, responsible sources that have an interest and capability to provide machined components for MK 25 MOD 1 Canister Fit Check Tools (FCTs) in accordance with the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW).

It is requested that all interested parties who can provide the required items to respond with a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement shall also include the following information:

(1) Company name, address, point of contact, and CAGE code.

(2) Business size for NAICS Code 332710 Machine Shops.

(3) Estimated unit price and lead time for market research purposes.

(4) Industry commentary on the current version of the SOW.

Responses of this notice shall be submitted via email to the Contract Specialist, Mia Barela, via email at maria.p.barela3.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 03:00 PM PDT on 04 April 2025. Email should reference pre-solicitation N6426725Q4131 in the subject line.

The information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business, socioeconomic set-aside, competitive or non-competitive method is possible, and to determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government's requirement. All organizations with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice.
