Project: Mississippi County 202538TNE
The Government of Mississippi County, Arkansas, is accepting bids to perform and furnish the labor and equipment for the demolition of dilapidated structures with regulated asbestos containing material, as well as for the clearing of vegetation from those same lots.
Scope of Work:
•        Clear the lot of vegetation to access structures.
•        Perform a wet demolition of structures in accordance with Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) rules and regulations.
•        Dispose of regulated asbestos containing materials in accordance with ADEQ rules and regulations.
•        Make the lots build ready.
The Bid package contains 38 dilapidated duplexes on overgrown lots. All lots are located on the Aeroplex in Blytheville, North of Daisy Drive.
The Bidder is responsible for paying for all permits necessary from the city, county, state, and federal governments, including the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ).
A full bid package with specifications can be acquired at a mandatory bid walk of the properties. This walk will start on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 @ 10:20AM at 4701 Memorial Dr, Blytheville, AR 72315.
Mississippi County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or portions thereof, and to waive formalities.
This notice has been paid for by the Mississippi County Judge’s Office for the amount of $248.06 and will be reimbursed by a federal HUD-administered grant.
Sealed bid submissions MUST be returned either by common carrier, mail, or in-person before Friday, June 20th @ 10:20AM, at which time the bids will be opened and read publicly in the County Judge’s Office, 200 W Walnut Street APT 204, Blytheville, AR 72315.
