Miscellaneous Structural Rehabilitation at the Throgs Neck Bridge

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Scope of the Work is summarized as follows:

1. Replacement of sub-floor beams, repair of deteriorated floor beams and stringers, and replacement of cracked deck rib bearing plates on the Bronx and Queens Approaches.
2. Installation of new high-strength bolts to replace missing, loose, or sheared bolts.
3. Replacement of tower link assemblies and associated temporary supports.4
4. Rehabilitation of tower winds pins and associated temporary supports.
5. Replacement of existing sign structure No. 3 on the Queens Approach.
6. Cleaning and painting of The Bronx Approach Spans 39 to 47, and as-needed surface cleaning and touchup painting as directed by the Project CEO.

This is an A + B Bidding Contract.

FUNDING: 100% MTA Range: $100M+

Goals: WBE: 15% MBE: 15% SDVOB: 5%
