Miscellaneous Paving Replacement Services-Phase I

Las Vegas Valley Water District invites qualified firms (Bidders) to submit Bids for the following Work, see Contract Documents for full details.

The Sites of the Work will be located at various sites within Las Vegas Valley Water District easements and Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Nevada Department of Transportation rights-of-way. Sites within Clark County are not limited to the Las Vegas service area and may include the following outlying areas: Blue Diamond, Nevada; Jean, Nevada; Kyle Canyon, Nevada; Laughlin, Nevada; and Searchlight, Nevada.

The Work consists of the replacement of permanent pavement and concrete appurtenances at locations within easements or rights-of-way defined by individual Work Orders. This includes providing the necessary equipment, labor, material, and services (including traffic control)

required to perform the required repairs as specified in the permit accompanying each work order or as otherwise specified. The Contractor will be issued individual Work Orders though the Owners pavement management system which will describe the specific location of the work by

address/cross streets, a description of the work to be performed, estimated quantities associated with the Work, encroachment permit associated with the work, pre-inspection photographs, and results of density testing performed by the Owner. The Contractor will be required to upload photographs to each work order showing all elements of completed work. The Work expressly includes Contractor’s obtaining scheduling and coordinating all inspections and acceptance by agencies having jurisdiction to ensure close out of the encroachment permit.
