accepted.

A 5% Bid Bond is required.

5. Project Scope Summary (PM portion to take bidders for a walkthrough)
The project includes interior and exterior repairs to the Minsky Gymnasium. Key work items include:
* Interior wall replacement - removing existing vinyl wall coverings and exposed insulation, then
installing new metal stud framing, R-19 insulation, and high-impact drywall.
* Finishing and painting - completing all new wall systems.
* Wall-mounted items - removing, protecting, and reinstalling items as needed.
* Water intrusion repairs - investigating leak areas and replacing damaged materials.
* Building envelope work - installing roof fasteners, sealants, flashing, gutters, and downspouts
to ensure a watertight structure.
* System coordination - coordinating with electrical and mechanical components impacted by
the work.
* Protection and cleanup - protecting the gym floor and performing daily debris removal.
Background: The gym is a pre-engineered metal building with deteriorated insulation caused by leaks
and sports activity. Work aims to restore insulation, address leaks, and install durable new interior wall
systems while minimizing disruption to ongoing programming.
* Contractors are strongly encouraged to review existing conditions during the pre-bid meeting.
* The City may issue addenda based on field observations.
