MINE KILL BOAT LAUNCH IMPROVEMENTS

The work covered under this project consists of furnishing all supervision, labor, materials and equipment (except for services, materials, and/or equipment to be furnished by others as specifically referred to in the Contract Documents), and performing all operations required to Upgrade Mine Kill State Park Boat Launch including, but not limited to the following:

1. Replacement of a cast-in-place concrete boat ramp, including but not limited to, the boat ramp panels, sidewalk, and curb.
2. Construction of a kayak launching ramp and associated ground hydrants.
3. Placement of stone rip rap along the western face of the kayak launching ramp.
4. Placement of excess excavated material at the State Park Maintenance Facility and Establishment of three (3) viewpoints adjacent to the parking lot.
5. Construction of a kayak storage building including kayak storage lockers.

The Contractor’s schedule for work shall result in only one seasonal outage as the boat launch season is from April 1 to October 15. The Contractor shall pay attention for the work restrictions regarding the in-water work as regards to construction of the boat launch and kayak launch
