Description
It is the intent of the City for the Successful Proposer to furnish all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to execute and properly finish the Project, as detailed and described herein. The City will be milling and paving roads in various parts of the City along with incidental related work including minor drainage improvements, replacement of traffic signal loop detectors, concrete sidewalks and ADA compliant pedestrian ramps. Work shall be phased and scheduled to provide for continued regular and handicapped access to residential, commercial and businesses during working hours. It is also noted that several of the roads are located at or near Connecticut Department of Transportation highway on- or off-ramps or intersections. Maintenance and protection of traffic of traffic and temporary signalization is to be coordinated with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CT DOT) and comply with the CT DOT Encroachment Permit(s) issued or obtained by Contractor. The list of proposed streets to be rehabilitated is attached but is subject to change. Speed humps and table are located on Hamilton park Road inside Hamilton Park.
An Alternate to bid will be the service road rehabilitation at East Mountain Golf Course on East Mountain Road, which must be done in October.
