The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Reston Acquisition Branch, has a requirement for milling, paving, and application of traffic paint of a parking lot and structure at the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center, located in Laurel, Maryland. All work must be completed within 90 days of the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed (NTP).

There are no option periods.

Competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0125Q0145 will be issued on or about 07/08/2025 with written quotes due on or about 08/07/2025. An organized site visit will be held, the details for which, including point of contact, can be found in provision 52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction) Alt I in Section L of the RFQ. All contractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend the site visit.

This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238990. The size standard is $19.0 million.

The magnitude of construction is $25,000 to $100,000.

The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/14/2025. A vendor must be registered at https://sam.gov to be awarded the contract.
