The City of San Marcos issoliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:

Solicitation Number: IFB 224-137 Millican Property Fencing Improvements

Scope of Project: Includes butis not limited to the installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet (LF) ofnew four-strand barbed wire fencing along with an estimated 10 minor fencerepairs and the installation of five gates. The estimated construction cost is $25,000.

Project Manual, plans,addenda, bid tabulation, etc., available for download at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement .

Bidders must submit acashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid inthe amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conferencewill be held on January 28, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for accessto video conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.

Bids must bereceived in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St.,San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than February 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time,and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Requests for access to the videoconferencemust be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov at least 30minutes prior to the bid opening.

Award is scheduled for February 24, 2025, or any subsequent time unless otherwiserescheduled.
