Overview

Summary

The City of Monterey is inviting proposals from qualified firms and individuals to prepare a Military SWOT Analysis for Monterey County’s National Security Installations comparable in depth and clarity to the previous SWOT Analysis produced by Public Private Solutions Group in 2016 which laid the groundwork for future efforts to sustain our local military presence.

Please see the attached informal RFP letter for more details.

Background

Purpose

The City seeks a consultant who can produce an actionable SWOT analysis of Monterey County’s military installations, focused on articulating their current military value and how that value to the national security mission might be enhanced to include attracting new missions. The final product should integrate local economic, social, and strategic context with Department of Defense (DoD) considerations.
