Middle Main Street Complete Street (NYS Route 5)

The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:

The project involves roadway and sidewalk rehabilitation along Main Street from north of Goodell Street to south of Kensington Avenue. Work includes mill and overlay of existing roadway and reconfiguring of travel lanes, new bicycle lanes with porous asphalt at sidewalk level and concrete sidewalk rehabilitation, crosswalks, curbing, drainage, utility work, landscaping, streetscape furnishings, signs, markings, traffic signals, lighting, electrical, blue light camera installation and wayfinding signage.

This is a Federal Aid Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on September 1, 2025 as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation’s website must be followed by the successful bidder.
