Mid-Hudson Bridge East Approach Rehabilitation - Construction

The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting bids for the "East Approach Rehabilitation" project at the Mid-Hudson Bridge in Poughkeepsie, NY. The scope of work involves filling viaducts with lightweight concrete; deck removal and replacement with precast deck system for five (5) approach structures; furnishing and installation of a Class "A" containment system for lead abatement and re-painting the arch bridge over Metro-North's commuter rail line. The project shall include all stages of the work-zone traffic control, furnishing and installing all materials, access, installing and removing approved "scaffolding/shielding" at locations shown on the contract drawings.

Bid documents are only available electronically. All inquiries shall be made by emailing Teresa Ceragioli, Assistant to the Chief Engineer, at tceragioli@nysba.ny.gov with your "Expression of Interest" to include your company email and contact information. Prospective bidders will then receive an email response with a hyperlink to download the bid package.

All Prospective bidders shall submit their "NYS Public Works - Contractor Certificate (PW55) with their bid. Any bid submitted without a "Contractor's Certificate" shall be considered non-responsive and invalid. P

Bid Deposit: 25% bid bond or $500,000 certified or cashier check will be required to validate the Proposer's bid.

The apparent low Bidder shall present evidence of experience and financial stability. The Bidder shall comply with the terms of the Notice to Bidders, including Equal Employment Opportunity, M/WBE and SDVOB goals.
