To potential respondents to Miami University RFQ for “Miami’s Health & Related Services, please note the following changes made to the amended RFQ dated May 18, 2023:
Schedule of Events Section
· Consultant Selection and Contract Negotiation – changed from July 31, 2023 to July 1, 2023.
· Desired Start Date – changed from January 1, 2024 to July 1, 2023 (to provide an overlap period with the current consultant if a different consultant is chosen.
Medical/Rx Management Consultative Services Section – Scope
· Student Health Insurance – added language “not included in current request for consultative services but possible future coordination”
· Student Athletic Insurance - added language “not included in current request for consultative services but possible future coordination”
· Change in language to item #1, bullet b:
o To “Evaluate programs such as a center of excellence, bundled service, wellness resources and other innovative leading best practices.”
· Added language to item #1, bullet c:
o To “Provide best practice recommendations related to on-site employer health clinics/centers.”
1. This request for proposals is for the selection of a vendor/provider to the University for services in accordance with the detailed specifications and requirements which follow.
2. Vendors desiring to respond to this Request for Proposals should submit an electronic copy of their response through the electronic sourcing portal at https://miamiu-ohiousourcing.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. In addition, specific questions regarding the RFQ should be submitted through the portal. Responses to the vendors questions will be posted through the portal as well.
3. A list of exceptions, if any, describing any exceptions or deviations from the standards specified must accompany each item or service requested. Unless an exception to the specifications is clearly stated within your bid submission, the proposal will be expected to meet or exceed each specification, term, and condition. Any deviations from the minimum specifications will be evaluated by the end users. All proposals must be signed by an authorized agent of the seller.
Prices, discounts or other financial considerations that address the requirements of this proposal described in the technical detailed section shall be fully enumerated in the response.

It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure that all required documentation, as enumerated above, arrives on time and at the designated location. Any submissions received after the stated date and time, or those that do not contain the required information as enumerated above, or the correct number of copies, will be considered incomplete and unresponsive, and will be disqualified.
5. Award will be based on price and terms, delivery/availability, quality and durability, ease of use and suitability of project for the University's intended use, and judged reliability. References
MUST
be submitted in depth in an effort to determine satisfaction with operational performance and service. The proposal which offers the best combination of price, service, delivery time, quality, serviceability, and reliability, in the opinion of Miami University, will be selected.
