The Office of Supply Chain Warehousing and Logistics operates several storerooms and warehouses throughout the National Capital Region. Support of WMATAs Operations and Infrastructure departments requires various material handling equipment and associated equipment to move and distribute inventory. Managing the acquisition, production, storage, and distribution of inventory is critical to controlling cost, and operational efficiency. The efficient and effective movement of these materials relies heavily on reliable, inspected, and certified equipment. Office of Supply Chain Warehousing and Logistics (SCWL) requires the services of a qualified vendor to provide Preventative Maintenance (PM) Inspections, Corrective Maintenance, Diagnose Broken Equipment on various types of material handling equipment (MHE) inventory, including but not limited to ancillary equipment such as batteries, chargers, warehouse safety equipment and protection, and associated equipment.
