MG LINE TO ELKHORN SLIDE AREA

This project is installing a new UG distribution line service along the north side of North Fork Road. The project area is located about 5 miles from the intersection of North Fork Road with Highway 22 (N Santiam Hwy). This portion of the road is being reworked to prevent landslides. The placement of the underground line will be on the uphill side of the road (north) so that it is out of the way.

This will be installed between stations 47 and 52 in the maps that can be found in Exhibit 6. The poles at stations 47 and 52 will be installed with risers to accommodate the underground. Stations 48, 49, and 50 will all have a junction box and fiber splice box. The underground line is about 2,700’ long and will include 3 junction boxes, 3 fiber splice boxes, 3 3” conduits for power, and 1 2” conduit for communication lines. . The scope of work includes installing 3 junction box sleeves, 3 GE fiber splice boxes, 3 3” conduits, and 1 2” conduits between the locations. All conduit will need to be bored into the back of the right of way.
