Sealed proposals for the Annual 2025 MFT Resurfacing Program Section #25-00000-01-GM will be received by the Village of Carpentersville, Public Works Department, 1075 Tamarac Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110 until 11:00 A.M., local time, May 22, 2025 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The proposed improvements will consist of HMA surface removal and resurface, select removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, class D patching, select curb and gutter removal and replacement, structure adjustment, pavement markings, restoration and all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards.

A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal shall be submitted with each proposal as provided in Article 102.09 of the “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction”, prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.08 of the “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction”, prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
